STEAMverse Day 17 - MegaMinds

Welcome to the ARVRinEDU Advent Calendar 2022! Our special focus this year is on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). These mini blogs will spotlight an immersive resource that can be easily implemented into the curriculum.

MegaMinds (TECHNOLOGY)

Through simple creation and assessment tools, MegaMinds enables teachers to customize their own 3D interactive learning environments their students can experience, like playing a game of Roblox. It’s great for front-of-class presentations via smartboard and/or student devices, in-class interactive workstations, and project-based assignments. And because the classrooms are persistent, students can even use them asynchronously at home. The virtual classrooms are also reusable and can be updated by teachers and revisited by students at any time during the school year.

Classrooms and resources can be shared with other teachers at the same school to save lesson planning time and get organized quickly. Teachers can co-create classrooms and freely swap and share lessons at the school. Classrooms are shared via a link and can be accessed on Chromebooks, tablets, and even smartphones.

Benefits of MegaMinds
