It's hard to believe FETC just ended, and I'm already thinking about the next event. We had a wildly busy but fulfilling FETC event. I brought my daughter to her first FETC event, and she helped with sessions and The Immersive Experience. I don't think she realized how busy EdTech events really are and was completely exhausted by the end of the day. It didn't take long for Elli to form her own connections while meeting incredible educators, and instead of introducing her to my friends, I became "Elli's Mom." It was a pleasure spending time with her, and I am delighted to announce that she will join me at TCEA next week.
Watch The Immersive Experience recap video below.
While all the sessions at FETC were full of immersive learning, two particular events were my spotlights. The Immersive Experience was made possible because Jennifer Womble understands the importance of having these AR/VR experiences for teachers to bring back into the classroom. It's a hands-on approach to learning these about the latest and innovative AR/VR tools for education.
A new experience this year at FETC was the Immersive Expo Hall Tour. I loved walking a group of educators through the vendor hall, exploring the best companies and tools to bring AR & VR into their classrooms. The attendees received AR/VR swag and had time to connect with others in the ARVRinEDU community plus dig in deeper with companies.
If you missed us at FETC, we've got you covered. Each of the table presenters shared a bit about their topic. Check it out below.
As we head to TCEA this week, I look forward to connecting with you all and learning about the amazing things you're doing in the classroom. I'd love to invite you to a special ARVRinEDU Coffee Meetup at the Hilton Austin Starbucks on Tuesday morning. Don't miss this chance to connect and collaborate with other ARVRinEDU community members, PLUS get a chance to explore the incredible Prisms VR app. REGISTER NOW!
Version 3 of The Reality Times Newspapers was released at FETC, and I will share them during my sessions at TCEA. Grab your copy of this Harry Potter-like newspaper! You don't want to miss ALL THE NEW EXPERIENCES.
Thank you for your partnership in bringing ARVRinEDU to education, and I look forward to connecting with many of you next week!
