Day 4: DoodleLens

DoodleLens brings AR creativity to a new level. Copy and paste images into your space, design scenes, and build animation with your own drawings. As described below in my new book, The Immersive Classroom, using immersive technology is building stronger connections to the material in the curriculum.

When I first received the app, I didn't realize how many amazing features are available. I initially used the app to turn my drawings into animated videos. The app would capture images but it would only paste without color. In addition, the option to build AR scenes allows the student to reuse content to easily build augmented reality experiences.

"When students are learning because they enjoy it, not only do they retain more information, they go well beyond the basics...If we can maximize the benefits of AR/VR to uncover a passion for learning, we may see growth and achievement like we've never seen before." page 44 The Immersive Classroom

Steps to Get Started:

1. Download the DoodleLens app from the App Store or Google Play

2. Select the Copy button

3. Modify the new capture by erasing some of the extra space

4. Paste and place the object
