Welcome to Day 2 and 3 of the #31DaysofARVRinEDU! Today we're exploring some helpful features of CoSpaces that can support your classroom experience and implementation process.

CoSpaces Templates
One of the hidden features of CoSpaces is the ability to create templates for assignments. This can be a real game-changer in an educational setting. By designing a template, you enable students to jump right into their CoSpaces projects with all the necessary library items and pre-coded elements in place. This not only saves you time but also allows students to focus on creativity and learning without getting bogged down in setup details. Templates make it easier for students to understand project requirements and immediately start experimenting with the tools.
Step 1: In your CoSpaces view, select the ellipsis (three dots) at the bottom right corner of the CoSpace.
Step 2: Select "Use As Assignment"
Step 3: Select the class that will have access to the template, click "Allow Students to Access Template," provide a title and description.
Step 4: Select to assign individual or groups.
Step 5: See the assignment ready for students.
Classroom Goodies
Alongside templates, CoSpaces offers many classroom goodies that can support your your students with great resources to get started. These include:
Classroom Posters: Visual signs that can brighten up your learning space.
Digital Badges: A fun way to motivate and reward students for their achievements.
Classroom Calendars: Keep everyone on track with deadlines and important dates.
Coding Cards: Handy reference materials that support students in learning coding skills.
Achievement Certificates: Celebrate student success with personalized certificates of achievement.
Incorporating these resources into your teaching toolkit can make CoSpaces more accessible and engaging for your students. These tools support learning and add an element of fun and recognition that can boost student motivation and participation.
