I’m thrilled to provide the #31DaysofARVRinEDU event! Each day in March will include an augmented (AR) or virtual reality (VR) resource to bring into the classroom.
I ran across this resource when I received a request by Deanne Polean for one of her science teachers. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices at the price of $1.99. The AR VR Molecules app allows students to view atoms and bonds in virtual reality.
The app takes the virtual reality experience a step further by giving students the ability to build molecule models, both organic and inorganic compounds using most of the periodic table. The experience supports single, double, triple bonds.

Moving to augmented reality, the app allows users to explore the molecule structures in AR by downloading the cards here.

I believe many science teachers can use this type of experience in their lessons to engage our students.
Happy moleculing!
